This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the “JALASAKA” educational booklet in improving sixth-grade elementary school students' understanding of Earth science. The method used is quantitative research with a pre-test and post-test design. The pre-test was administered before the booklet was used, and the post-test was administered after students learned using the booklet. The data obtained were analyzed using a paired sample t-test to determine whether there was a significant difference between the students' pre-test and post-test scores. The results showed that most students experienced a significant increase in their understanding of the Earth after using the “JALASAKA” booklet. The students' post-test scores were higher than their pre-test scores, indicating that the booklet was effective in helping students understand the material taught. This improvement was also supported by statistical analysis showing that the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores was statistically significant. Thus, the use of the “JALASAKA” booklet media proved to be effective in improving students' understanding of the material on the planet Earth. Therefore, it is recommended to develop similar learning media, both in print and digital formats, to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.
