The Use of Digital Media as an Effective Learning Tool in the Technological Era

Abstrak

Education is greatly influenced by the competency standards possessed by teachers. The competency standards that teachers must have include four types of competencies, namely: pedagogic, personality, professional, and social competencies. One of the actions that a teacher must take as a professional is to develop or create learning media. Learning media is a tool used as an intermediary in conveying information from educators to students in the learning process to make it easier for students to understand. Meanwhile, digital-based learning media is a tool used as an intermediary to convey messages or information from teachers through digital. The research method used in this study is literature study. The results of the research are that digital-based learning media has many benefits if applied in learning.
